New to Planet Nautique so bare with me..... I joined to ask you all about the Spyder Tower CC made as an option in '02-'03. I would like a tower on my '06, but wake boat towers are a liitle to bulky for me. Im kind of a purist when it comes to my boat. I like the sleek streamline closed bow. However as a barefooter the extra lift is nice to have plus rear passengers dont have to fear decapitation. The spyder Tower is the only tower I would consider using. So does anyone have this on their boat? How do you like it? Seems low wich I like for looks, but how functional is it? Hitting your head off it all day? And second, anyone have one for sale? The co. that made it went out of business i hear.... Thanks for the input!!!

Good luck finding one. They are rare.
They are also FAMOUS as being head-clunkers since they sit so low. I think that's the main reason they weren't more popular back in the day. Everyone hates it due to the head clunking Jeff pointed out. Agreed, they look awesome but really aren't any higher than the extended pylon you could get on some of the air tiques and air nautiques.
Sometimes folks are willing to trade short pylon for tall, might be worth a shot.Comment

New Deminsions has a mini tower that will fit on a 196, there is a trick skier on our lake with a 2008' 196 on his. It looks pretty good, maybe not quite as good as the spider tower, but it could be an option.2005 Ski Nautique 206 SE, Acme 422, PP SG 8.0, ND Tower
