    Thanks to Tige Boats

We just tried out the new Surf Pockets the wife made on Fry. They work perfect no more stepping over the surf boards on the back sun deck. I dont know who it was on the WakeWorld forum that turned me on to surf pockets it was someone on a deleted thread.
Thanks for the information and Thanks to Tige for the Idea.

Mike those sure look good, tell Gail she's a keeper. We spent our first real weekend in our new sport and couldn't believe how nice the overhead storage on the Z5 bimini is. It holds 2 wakeboards or a pair of trick skis and one slalom ski in the center. We put our ropes and wet vests up there after use, no floor clutter. I'll have to get some pictures of it loaded up, what an amazing product.

        Hey Alan
You both have got to be loving the new sport. Have you surfed it yet? How is Dana doing with the wake boarding. We are looking forward to seeing both of you in Nashville I hope you can make it.

It's a dream to ski or board behind but we need a little help getting the surf set up right, I don't have any extra ballast yet and the wake was real short, we only had 3 peeps on the boat too so that didn't help. We'll see you guys in June and would love some help sorting it out.

Let's see some pics of that whole rig. The van's custom painted to match the boat??

Hey Mickey, I Like it!! Do be careful if towing from the tower though, looks like the rope could get caught up in a skeg.
Looking forward to seeing you and Gail next month down in 10RC!!

After looking at your pics, I just started searching craigslist for a van. Sweet setup! My old man used an old Dodge van to pull the family boat growing up. I forgot how versatile they are, now I think I want one. Oh, and I'll take that barn setup too please, thanks.

That's the reason I went with a van . Is its the most versatile and less expensive of all tow vehicles. I needed a larger tow rig when I bought the 210 . I looked at PU trucks but then you have no room for people plus they are light in the back and have a hard time on steep ramps unless you get 4WD that cost more . Then I looked at SUVs they have people space but lac in cargo room and are very expensive. The full size van fit the bill perfectly Its basically a Suburban drive train with a big box on top. It will hold 12 people with the seats in or makes a great lockable camper with the seats out . Pulse it hauls almost any thing. When we moved to GA I put two Harley's in the van and a boat behind it . Vans are not so popular now so you can get a nice one much cheaper than a truck or SUV. Look for at least a 3/4 ton with a large V8 . Mine is a HD 1 ton ,6L and a 373 rear end. It gets 15 mph non towing and 10 mph towing highway.

It's an awesome set-up and I love the fact that you turned it into a Nautique van to match your boat. They really look awesome together!
