    Fat Sacs

I was curious as we go into the winter Iam wanting to get some fat sacs for my boat. I have a 83 SN and were wanting more air for wakeboarding but also we want to try and wakesurf. I was looking at getting (2) 750lb bags, is this way too much or about right? Also I want to get a pump that will fill and empty quickly, what should I look for? Thanks

If you buy the 400's and want more weight you'll be buying more sacks. With the 750's you don't have to fill them up all the way. The Fly High Pro X Tsunami Ballast Pump is faster than my factory pumps.

Do you think one bag is enough or go for two? Dont want to overload the boat........she's old! LOL

I don't have any experience weighting an SN 2001 so I am basing this off how I weighted my old Sport and what I have heard others do with 2001s. I think you will want two bags so that you can balance the wake front to back. In my 91 Sport i had a 600# that fit behind the doghouse and in front of the back seat. I then put a matching 600# in the bow walkway and that created a nice wake. Obviously your bow is closed so I am not sure what bag would fit up there best but maybe the triangle sac? Another option is to put matching sacks in the walkways on either side of the dog house and then probably a lil something under the bow. From what I have heard I think your hull can handle 1500 lbs but start slow and remember the handling will degrade as you add wieght and that waves will be more likely to come over the bow or perhaps stern. Good luck and be safe

Thanks, I thought about the weight having water over the stern or bow. She rides pretty low anyways I may go to smaller bags and start there. I have heard too that weighting them on each side of the dog house works pretty well in the older boats.
