I have the smaller version of the Broadcast and I like it but compared to any IS I think you will be very disappointed. The Broadcast is a great cheaper board to get you on the water and start to progress on but I think it would seem like a step back from your sweetspot. I don't surf very often but I am already looking to upgrade to something that is a little faster. It makes a good boat board since it fits in standard wakeboad racks, is durable and the older ones actually had a lifetime warranty.

Another resource -- not sure if they have a showroom or how close (or far from you they are) but I have used them and they set me up!! I would for sure use them again.
