my background is on the ocean so ive went back to wax after i slipped and pulled a groin. liking wax way better. i had to pull a pad from one board, but a lot of companies are giving the option now. what are other surfers riding with?

I usually only ocean surf in the winter and I wear O'neill superfreak split toes and have the wax removed. I got so used to it that when I am in warmer water it feels weird not wearing boots and I don't much care for wax. So far I have only had wakesurf boards with traction pads, although I have my eye on a custom board with a custom color and kevlar netting which would be a shame to cover with traction. What temperature wax would you use on a wakesurf board to avoid mess. In AZ in the summer its like 115 during the day with water temps in the 90's and the boards live up on the black canvas Z5 seems like the wax would just come right off. I have thought about using something like the monster paint or quick grip clear traction spray, has anyone used anything like that?
