Can anyone recommend a wakeskate?

A buddy recommended ronix rove Karver. It seems like a great board to start with. Is it something I'm going to be looking to upgrade next year? Seems like a cruiser. Not that I'll be doing any crazy trucks, but would like a board that at least has that potential. Thanks!

I've been using a Hyperlite Nomad 44 for about a month and love it! I'm new to 'skating but it's stable enough to cut turns with and still pop-y. Not that it was the wake skate's fault, but I caught a front edge and fell forward onto the handle, causing a costachondral separation about 3 weeks ago (two ribs ripped away from the cartilage that holds them to the sternum). When I am able to get back on the 'skate, I won't be wearing a comp vest anymore.

I think you will get bored with the Karver, it is pretty much a directional cruiser similar to a long board skateboard. I'd get a twin tip that you can progress on if you want. Bigger is better for beginners as it will be more stable. Also ones that have a padded deck instead of grip tape will help to prevent the grip tape rash.
