Floating lift capacity for a 210 SANTE?

Hi, I am looking at getting a used floating lift (e.g. Hydrohoist, Roto Lift, etc.).

Found a good deal on a used 4400 or 4500 lbs. my 2010 210 SANTE has a dry weight of 3800, with a 40 gallon fuel tank. A couple of dealers are telling me that this capacity will be sufficient, since the boat will be in a marina, with no exposure to currents, waves, etc.

Do you guys think I should go to a bigger lift? I don't have any plans in the short-medium term to get a bigger boat.

Also, if you are familiar with these lifts, do you have any reservations with the econolift type? (I.e. One big rectangular tank) vs the traditional 2 cylinder tanks, etc. Both dealers are offering 1 year warranty on the setup.

    thanks!

I may just sit a bit lower in the water but think you should be good.

My previous lift was a 4000 # rated Shoremaster/Galva lift, and a friend with an '08 210 SANTE used it a couple of times with out a problem. This particular lift also lifted my 230 SANTE (barely), but the lift wasn't far enough back in the slip, so the extra length affected the lift, I think if I adjusted it back, it would have been *ok* short term.

Hydro and Roto lifts are really good, look at the hardware, bushings on pivots, etc...The Econolifts aren't as beefy, but they do have ball valves on the tank so you can "shut off" the tank, and they only have a little bit of hardware in the water when the lift is up. If the $$ is close, go w/Hydro Hoist or Roto Lift, etc..
