garage pictures/ board racks/ storage ideas... please share

Forecasted to rain this memorial; figured garage organizing might be a good idea. Tried to search this topic on my phone but found everything what I was looking for. If any of you have any sweet garages or organizational systems for your boat stuff please share... I'd love to be inspired.

I use a simple fold down bike rack mount for my boards on my wall. Garage is a jumbled mess at the moment as we are getting ready for our season and I am detailing the boat , but you get the idea. Very simple, Great part about these is they fold out of way if they are empty. You can hold a wakesurf and a wakeboard or a ski and a wakeboard on each holder. The ends have a nice thick rubber coating to protect everything and they are a piece of cake to install.

Lowes is where I got mine. Yea the quiver keeps growing. Not that I am complaining. There are 3 surfboards and 2 slaloms u can't see behind there.

I used a couple of 1x12 pine shelf board and traced the outline of my board rack forks on them. I may have all of $20 in them.

Better to place the boards downwards so dry better and get no dust inside boots. This is similar to the one I use, but only two rails attached to wall and more removable triangles (no shelves) that I cover with foam/rubber to avoid scratches on the board.Click image for larger version

Obviously my garage is a mess, but I went with these years back. 2x 5/16 eye bolts screwed into the studs and 2x bungee cords. I don't even unhook the bungees just slip it around each end of the board. Each holder <$5.00.

Made racks last weekend they are super strong as well since the floor mounts bolts directly into studs.

I bought everything at lowe's and it all out of 1/2 inch galvanized pipe.

                    1/2 Floor Flange
                    1/2 X 24 inches Galvanized pipe
                    1/2 X 45 degree elbow Galvanized
                    1/2 pipe cap
                    1/2 inch foam pipe insulation.

Even mounted my stand up Paddle Board off the ceiling with 1 1/4 Galvanized pipe as well..

Those look sharp Dave... Any chance you have a photo without the boards to see the base/mount?

Like swat I picked up the little brackets at Lowes. I don't have room for boards to be hanging out into opening for garage so I did them flat against wall.

One advantage of switching to the G is I leave them in the storage on the boat. 5 surf board under the spotter seat and 3 wake boards in each side locker. The drawback is no room for extra stereo equipment and bindings are subject temperature changes.
