We have never surfed before but want to give it a try. I am not ready to invest big $$$ just yet. Range of riders would be kids to adults 100# to 230#. 1st time surfing for everybody, but everybody is more than capable on the water skiing and wakeboarding (my kids don’t even ask to tube). I have a 98 Air/Sport DD with 1100# in the trunk and 700# in the ski locker. I found a guy on Craigslist with LF Venture 5.0 he is asking $225. I know this is an old board but would it work for us? Or is this just a waste of time? Any help or suggestions? I don’t want to get a board that we outgrow in a week if we like to surf.
