My 9 year old is really starting to figure out her wakeboard, but her generic bass pro life vest (she thinks is cute) is really driving her crazy. I kill my wakes so she gets to spend a little time floating and the strap vests seem to ride up and they start rubbing her armpits. It actually bothers her before she gets tired. Could some of the dads (or moms) out there give me some direction on the jackets that you have had good luck with for the kids?

Mine are in the boat and I cannot remember the model but we found some O'Brien vests (i think at Sam's) that worked great when they were little and then my daughter switched to a Roxi (Sun & Ski) that she liked really well. The key was to get one that fit tight around her stomach so it wouldn't ride up. She also preferred the neoprene. I think the Roxi had two buckles closer to the waist rather than the chest. I would look for that style.2013 G23 450 with NSS (175hrs) and still have the original prop

Vests are a work of art for the kids. Every mfg has a different fit. I went to just about every pro shop and Watersports store in the area for one daughter trying to find one that fit correctly. The other daughter hit the jackpot at store one. One has Roxy. The other has Connelly. Costco has some great high quality Hyperlite vests by me. Fit is everything for the kiddos.

My youngest was always complaining about the vest chaffing him so my wife searched and searched and came across Super Soft. They look like the old school ones my dad wore when he skied. Great reviews and hard to find but my boy loves it. We found this at a pool supply in town. Weight and Cost Guard approved are a must.1 Photo
