    Sweet little skim style

Well I loved my wife's Phase 5 for awhile and always felt like I was a little heavy for it so we picked up an Inland Surfer Keenan skim. I gotta say it's pretty dang fun! I was worried that it wouldn't be buoyant enough for me at 200 lbs but it's great!! Thinner than the Phase 5 a touch lighter and is very fast.

If your looking for a great skim board I'd recommend is one!

Thanks, I'm hoping to pick up a demo and try this one out. I'm looking to replace my Liquid Force Doum. Did you very ride it?

I picked it up at Sun and Ski when they discount their boards at the end of the season and rode it last summer. So I don't have much time on it. (Couldn't get on the water because ramps were closed). I have the 58" and weighed 210 back then. When using it with my G23, I feel have to fight for push. 180's are OK and 360's coming down the wake into the flat area (with the rope for recovery) are not a problem but without the rope I struggle. Also, I could use a little more speed when trying to crossover the wake; or maybe better timing on the NSS switch, as I get washed out on top. It's the only skim I have so I cannot compare it to anything. I do like to being able to start and end a set from the platform on the cold Oct-Nov days. Can't do that with my other surf style boards.

I just picked up the Phase 5 Matrix this past weekend and it is a solid skim style board for me at 200lbs. Very fast down the line and light.
