Radar and Eagle Vest

Just a heads up to anyone ordering an eagle vest or a radar vest. These things are sized SMALL!!! For the record Im a pretty big guy (6'5" 225 and my chest is 44-45 ish) I have an XL HO Syndicate pull over vest that is a little on the big side because it will ride up slightly in the water. I tried on an XL radar zip up vest and there was no way it was going to zip up on me. NO WAY. I did my research and the sizing for a radar vest is almost the same as a MEDIUM HO vest!

I ended up ordering an Eagle Bird of Prey XXL vest. Guys its all I can do to get this thing zipped!! When the vest is on and unzipped the zippers are 10" apart at the bottom!!! I have to suck in and hold the vest taut and pull the **** out of it to get the zipper started and try and use any fingers and any part of my hand not being used to zip it to hold it together while I zip it! The website says they are designed to fit skin but geez!

I love the vest though and I will be trying it out tomorrow. Hopefully once it gets wet it will loosen up some. If this thing didnt have a zipper it would have to be surgically removed!

THanks for the heads up. I ordered a size XS Jet Pilot for my daughter this Spring, and she couldn't zip it together. I informed the shop I'd bought it from, they suggested getting it wet prior to zipping as these bad boys stretch a bunch when wet. I ended up returning the vest, ' cause she didn't really need it in the end (she tried to pull a fast one on dear ol' dad...) ;-)
