Hi guys,
I'm starting to make friends (YAY!), but that means I'm running out of room in the SV-211 for extra boars/gear/etc (awe...).
I've been trying to find a good (read: cheap and sturdy) way to turn my bimini top into a cargo-bimini setup for storing the surf-boards. Step one was to take the cargo-netting out of my 2014 Audi S4 and use some bungees to make it all work:

This actually worked pretty well, but it looks fair-to-moderately horrible. It also didn't hold at higher speeds (like, WOT while running from a thunder storm). Otherwise, with the boards upside-down, the **** kick from each surfer did a great job of pushing into the bimini top and holding through the fabric against the tower.
I just purchased a truck-cargo-netting solution, and I'm going to give that a try.
I did find a boat company in Charlotte NC, that has a black over-the-top strapping system that allows you to literally clip a set of sleeves over the top, but they want almost 500.00 for that, and I can have them stitched into the top for about that much.
Any thoughts or suggestions, I'm wide open!
More pictures as I get around to it.
