    What are these Tower Clamps?

I recently bought a 1999 pro air with the FCT 1 gen 1 tower. The tower came with some clamps on the rear vertical and the front angled legs.

I believe the clamps on the angled legs are for a Bimini but I cannot decide what the rear clamps are for.

    Any thoughts?

I will add some close up pictures tomorrow. They didn't take for some reason.

    Thanks.

Is that tower still structurally safe? Most FCT1 have broke by now

Thanks for the input. I don't know if I have seen a Bimini built into a FCT gen 1.

          What do you mean Quinner?

Xlair, the towers actually had 2 broken lap joints on the top. I just had them welded up. I'm hoping it will last me a year until I can get something better.

Like Quinn we mentioned. Those are clamps for an aftermarket Bimini from towerbininis.com

Here you can see how they mount, should be (3) brackets per side.
