    WakeSurf board bags question

Starting to get into surfing more, after we get done wake-boarding. So I ordered a new Fang surf style board since there on sale right now. I decided to get a board bag for it, as I have beat up my Inland Surfer Squirt pretty bad mostly due to transporting it to buddies boats. Everything came in today and my question is, is it normal to have to remove the fins to put the surf board into the bag? I can understand needing / wanting to do this for flying or shipping, but when I'm just tossing it in the Jeep to take it to my buddies house/boat it seams like a unnecessary pita.

Just wondering, do all surf bags require you to remove the fins? Or is it just the Phase 5 bag I ordered?

    Thanks

I have the creatures bag. It expands the sides so you can put board in bag with fins on.
