Garage organization ideas

Hey guys I'm getting ready to start working on trying to get my garage at the lake house organized. I'm looking for organization/storage ideas that will help get stuff off the floor and keep it organized. Im mostly talking about lake related things like life jackets, wake and surf boards, fishing rods, etc.

Wildcat how did you attach the pvc pipe to the 2x4s?

Lots of good photos here. The primary idea is to USE YOUR VERTICAL SPACE!. Wildcat did a good job here. I'd even add another shelf above all of that for things you use, but not quite as often. I tend to keep the spare prop and prop puller up there. Battery charger, Gallon jugs of cleaning supplies, etc.

Wildcat how did you attach the pvc pipe to the 2x4s?

I drilled holes slightly smaller than the OD of the PVC and then I pounded a 3” piece of PVC in the hole. I then drilled a through the side and put a 3” wood screw in there to act like a set screw.
