I use a Wake Ace Pro Tec helmet when I hydrofoil. The ear flaps are a must to keep your ear drums in place when learning inverts. The ear pieces snap on to the helmet and tend to come undone with bad falls. A simple call to the 1 800 338-6068 and they are sending me out 2 sets for free! Great customer service!

I just bought a blue one last week that has the ear flaps already on it. The shop had to order the helment since they didn't have a blue one for me, it so I should get it next week. I got it brand new for $45 which I thought was pretty good! This year will be the first time using one.

Be sure to epoxy or super glue them on or they will be lost. Also heard from my foiling group that Pro Tec replaced a guys helmet after a year of use when the snaps rusted.
