I recently spoke with Jeff at Soulcraft about ordering a custom Voodoo. Initially, his communication skills far exceeded my expectations. However, after placing a deposit on a voodoo his communication skills have become beyond poor. My frustration stems from the fact that I was told "I will send you pictures of the build so you can begin to bond with your new board, lol" and "it'll be shipped in a couple weeks at the latest". 4 weeks have now passed, I haven't received a single photo, the board hasn't shipped and he hasn't responded to the last 2 emails I sent him. One email was 2 days ago. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt where as this is a custom board but I'm beginning to feel that service after the sale is going to be non-existent (not a good feeling when purchasing a $1000 dollar board). Has anyone else run in to this with Soulcraft? Thanks.

Yes Jeff needs to hire a few more folks . I don’t think he can keep up with the demand of custom boards . I had a similar experience speaking with him on the front end of the purchase . The draft board images were sent by another employee at Soulcraft via email . Long long process. From start to finish it took 7 weeks to get my board but I didn’t care because it was in the off season. Best time to order is in the fall season . Right now he is filling boat show orders so you are competing with those ordersLast edited by GMLIII; 03-01-2019, 05:17 PM.

Jeff is a very honest and trustworthy person. And I am sure you will love your board. Before signing with my current board sponsor I ordered three boards from him. He responds well to texts. But this time of year he can get quite busy and overwhelmed. Board delivery will almost always take much longer than we want. DM me if you want his cell #.

Thank you both for the quick responses. I guess I’ll give Jeff a bit more time to respond before I reach out to him again. What it boils down to is, if his communication was as good after I placed the deposit as it was before placing it, I wouldn’t have a bit of doubt in my mind regarding the purchase. I guess I just wasn’t expecting his communication to change so drastically after I paid him.

I emailed Soul Craft with questions about boards back in September of 2018. I still haven’t gotten a response.2007 Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV, 1995 Cobalt 200

I heard back from Jeff yesterday and he apologized for the delay. He also stated that he’d send me some pictures. Jeff has always been very nice and professional when speaking with him....sometimes it’s tough to reach him though. I hope this board is as great as everyone states.
