Looking for board recommendations for myself and my kids. We are all novices who have all surfed but are very much beginners. My kids range from 90-130 lbs and I am 6’0” and 220. We will be surfing behind our new 2019 210 with pro ballast. Would love a board that’s easy to ride and learn on without having to spend $1000 on a board especially since we’ll have to buy at least 2.

The Phase 5 Fish is one of the best boards for kids in the weight range you mention. I have taught dozens of kids on this board and they can advance on it for at least two years. It is very light so kids can easily flip the board to start. The wide waist also makes it easy to hold the wave. Can't go wrong with this one.

At 200lbs you will need something 4' 8" or larger. In this class look at Hyperlite Quad, Time Machine, Shim or Ronix Koal. Don't forget to check Craigslist. You can often find good beginner boards early in the season from people moving up. Good luck.
