Dang, I never knew about the Starboard location thing, thanks for letting me know. At least I got it right on our other boat

Wow, I didn't know about this etiquette rule, I avail it as a standard of courtesy. More than that, it looks more aboriginal on the starboard side of the tower. Is it as a matter of fact wrong not to follow this rule? I had seen a lot of boats that flag on other places. Sometimes I think that is more important what kind of flag, and flagpole you have, and what is the purpose of having it. On my boat I have a US flag plus strong flagpole and solar flagpole light from https://www.amazon.com/Flagpole-Ener...dp/B00YBDA7DC/

Does anyone happen to know the tubing diameter on a 2017 GS20 tower? I ordered a new, bigger flag and am waiting to order the holder till I confirm flag size. I keep forgetting to measure when I am at the dock.

Tigerxj I don't know the diameter of the tower but many Nautique owners are using the Big Air Tower flag pole holders. Works with various tower tubing diameters. I have one on my 2017 G23 and it works great. Very durable. You can't go wrong with this flag holder.

I plan to purchase one once I can (remember to) verify the tubing diameter on the tower. They offer 6 different tubing sizes.

No, there are only 2 options. The standard fits 1 7/8" - 2 1/2" diameter tubing. The XL fits 2 7/8" - 3" diameter tubing. Sorry, I can't help you out with the diamter of your tubing, though. I ordered one this summer--it's nice!

Tigerxj I just went with the standard size clamp 2.5 on my 2017 G23 tower and it works fine. They send plenty of rubber wedge wraps to make it small if needed in case tower is smaller in diameter

don’t know if you can see the bottom well, but they offer 2”, 2.25”, 2.375”, 2.5”, 2.875”, and 3”.

didn’t make it out to the lake this weekend due to conflicting schedule, so I just went with the 2.5”.
