For the money the Broadcast is very hard to beat. I'll probably pick one up during one of the spring sales just to have in the boat. Last year one of the local shops was blowing them out for under $300.

I've been riding a 4' 6" Liquid Force Happy Pill behind my 2000 Air Nautique. With 2000 lb ballast and 5 adults I can surf it pretty well, as in stay up without excessive effort, but no one else can. We tried a larger Liquid Force Rocket, but it is so un-maneuverable it is hard to stay in the pocket even though it feels like it has more push and it isn't fun to ride. I'd love to stick with the Happy Pill, but I don't think my boat has a big enough wave and never will. How would the broadcast compare? Will still be fun to ride? Any recommendations on 4' 8" vs. 5' 4"?

I would rather have a board with more push and have to change my stance than have a board with not enough push that I have to fight to stay in the pocket.
