Joy Stick Surf Rope - or Something Else???

Lake Wake Life just came out wirth these Joy Stick surf ropes which are bungee and they have a place to hold your hand that looks like a sex object vs a handle. I want to try one, but I wanted to see if any other members had tried one or had more information on the rope. My biggest concern with the rope is it's durability.

Not sure about the bungee part, but safer than a traditional handle so that is good. Some people don't care for the knotted style rope, so this seems like a good safe alternative.

Yeah..... I don't see that making it into the boat with the kids this year or actually ever. I get the safer thing but I've never personally liked the knot or any of the "straight rope" type options. There's a lot of people that just don't have the grip to use one or with new riders are focusing too much on the rope rather that getting up. But it's a preference thing and I'm sure this will appeal to many.

In the video....the slight pull and bungee action to get the handle in the boat....I think thats a great idea. Also looks softer than the handle options and for kids getting hung up in a fall with a traditional handle....seems way safer.
