Liquid Force Mega Wakesurf Edge on 2006 SANTE 220

Upgraded the wedge this year from a Ronix 8.3 to the Liquid Force Mega Wakesurf Edge. Definitely a bigger wake, but dialing it in just right is taking some time. Those of you that have one on your 220, where are you placing it exactly? How much weight and how fast? Our boat is actually the 2007 hull. Currently putting 400 in each rear, 750 in the middle ski locker, and 300 up front. Planning to add weigh to the rear on each side, maybe under the back seat, and more up front. It's a clean wake, but a lot of spray on the sides. When it's steep you don't get the push. When you have the push I can't get the height. Tried speeds from 10.5-12.

Sounds to me like you need alot more weight in the back. Are you piggy backing, or did you pull the hard tanks? your locker and bow weights look pretty good (maybe a little heavy in the locker). I place my wake shaper as far back as possible, and up about one inch from the bottom edge. I've been pretty pleased with the results, but it did take some trial and error. I have the same boat and I piggy back off the rear hard tanks with additional 500+ each side. We run between 10.7 and 11 mph typically. I couldn't seem to look at your attachments?

Here's the 2 videos again. Let me know if you can't see them. The one with the man bun is my hubby we had 3 less people on the boat, had the push, but not the height. And then the other one had the height but not the push. We're piggy backing. How did you get it to stay that low? Put it on before you fill the tanks and fat sacks? It kept wanting to pop off. How far back are you able to get it without it popping off?

Might be something wrong on my side for watching the videos, but i put the shaper about 2 inches forward from the back corner, and 1-2 inches up from the hull edge, under water. For mine, i have to make sure all air pockets are out from the suction cups, so i start in the water lower than the edge, shake it a little, then bring it up to the position i want on the hull. It should take some effort to get the suction levers fully "engaged". If not, its probably not going to stay on. I'll be out this weekend, I'll see if i can snap some pics of it. I would imagine the wake shaper may also be an issue if you are not able to get it in the position I am describing.
