I just purchased a lake home and it came with a U dock manufactured by rhino systems. The slip is 10x24 and in pretty good shape but the finger have been broken and fixed.
The water is at a depth where I could go either way, put a shore station next to the dock or a hydrohoist in the slip. Over the weekend during the holiday we had some big wake boat rollers come through and the dock was moving 18 vertically so its fairly rough water.
Any opinions on which way I should go? Price is pretty similar between the two with the hoist being about $1k more. Im just concerned if the dock would take a worse beating with the lift in it
