    Soulcraft Super Fly

Just picked up the new Super Fly and WOW! I never had the Stretch Flyboy designed by James and hi Father but the Inland Surfer Flyboy was my favorite board ever. That board died a while ago and I moved on to the Doomswell NEO and Nubstep which which are really fun boards but were not quite up to par with the flyboy. I had been in contact with Soulcraft about purchasing a board and they told me to hold off until this fall for a new model since I had mantioned the flyboy and NEO. I am so glad i waited, the superfly is the best board I have ever ridden hands down. The speed it generates is ridiculous, spins are effortless and it just wants to take off. The concave top deck is so comfy and your feet just lock in. I purchased 2 more for the entire family so we have a 4'4", 4'6" and a 4'8". Get on one if you can, you wont be sorry. I'm a believer now. SuperFly is everything you come to expect from a board targeted at pushing a riders boundaries and leading skill progression and advancement. It’s modern design influence is rooted from an iconic outline, the Stretch FlyBoy - designed by Jeff and James Walker many, many years ago which has become sort of a cult classic among connoisseurs of wake surf.

Writing a new page in the modern wake surf shapers playbook, we took this outline and focused on maximizing performance to match the powerful waves being offered by todays premiere boat manufacturers. With these design goals, SuperFly received our latest hybrid rail profile, model specific advanced base and deck concaves for extremely easy release, maximum agility and ample board control for the seasonsed surfer.

How much? Important since Doomswell's can be had for under $400 regularly.

$1000 for the Soulcraft. It's definitely a lot more than the Doomswell but going from a Neo to the Superfly there is no comparrison. I held off on buying a Soulcraft for years because of the price as well. After finally making the switch I now wish I had purchased one years ago, the progression you achieve from these decks is unreal.
