    Adrenaline Watersports - Drysuit Help

I ripped one of the seals in my drysuit and I normally have Adrenaline Watersports (Seattle area) repair. It looks like they have closed their physical shop and the info posted on the web isn't valid. Anyone local know anything different? Or have a contact?

By the way, there is an Adrenaline Watersports that opened in Georgia. No relation to the closed pacific northwest store.

If anyone has another resource for suit repair, please let me know.

Try Northwest outdoor center in Seattle on westlake avenue. I recall they have seals and glue.

Or....do it yourself. It's not hard. Need a hairdryer or a heat gun and a bit of patience....

Thanks for the info. I'd gladly do it myself if I knew where to get the seals. Never really researched. Have any leads on seals?

I have a place you can mail order from. I'll lookup and post the details later today.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I have been using white surgical tape on the neck seal and I'm done with that.

            Seal suppliers:

My ski buddy who also dives really likes these guys

            https://www.divegearexpress.com/g-di...more%20rows%20

I have gotten my seals direct from OS Systems

            http://ossystems.com/?page_id=802

You want to use heat sealable glue - OS Systems PB 300 is the ticket. Hopefully your current seals are installed with this glue or removal of the old seals will be a PITA. With this glue, you warm the seal and the glue releases. Makes for easy repairs and installation of the next seal. NW Outdoor had this in stock and it was cheaper than direct from OS IIR. They may also have seals in stock. Shelf life of the glue is tricky once its opened. Super carefully seal the glue and then package in a airtight ziplock to remove the residual air. Due to the price of the glue and shelf life issues, I just did all the seals on my suit.

OS Systems pricelist where you can find the glue.

Here's a good instruction page. I used home items to tension the suit while gluing in the new seal. Various sized yogurt cups worked well for the sleeves and legs abd I think I used a semi-deflated ball or something like that for the neck.

No problem. Was out there in 2000 for work for 2 weeks. Found a group my age at one of the Sammamish launches in Issaquah within 2 hours of my flight landing. Was on the water that afternoon.

Spent a small fortune at Adrenaline's store and shipped it all home.

And had my first Rogue Dead Guy. Didn't want to go home!

Lol. I'm on sammamish most of the summer and rogue dead guy ale is still juicy. Too bad you didn't get to wiley's, seattle's best ski shop. . If you come back you've got a pull lined up. Good luck with dry suit. We were out today...air temp 38 and water was 47. Sunny with a glassy lake and not a boat in sight....
