Women’s PFD recommendation?

Hey all, looking to get my wife a nice CGA vest for beginner surfing and wakeboarding. While there are copious reviews for men’s vests, the women’s side is pretty sparse, mostly with “fits great!” which isn’t super helpful.

She’s 5’8” 130lbs and has a long torso, and she’s hoping to find something that doesn’t stop above her belly button. She’s a 2/4, xs, s, or m depending on the brand, but a small tall is usually about right. Any recommendations from the ladies?

If you decide to go non-coastguard approved . I would recommend this Stokes Flower Power woman's vest. My wife is a surfer and loves it. Not only looks good , she says it is extremely comfortable.

Not to derail my own topic, but either that woman is seriously hulked, or they photoshopped it onto a man. I see it says unisex, but seriously what an awesome pic.

I do appreciate the recommendation. We’re definitely looking for a CGA vest, as it’s a legal requirement on our lake.

They do call it unisex but I doubt a man would be caught dead wearing this vest. Yes I agree the picture looks photoshopped. I too have a Stokes vest and it is the best vest I have very used. Good look with your vest hunt

Radar lyric womens is what my wife rides with and has for a few seasons. She upgrades yearly to the new years model it seems but that's more just being a woman then anything!

My wife likes her O'Brien..casual rider similar to your wife..comfortable with good flotation. USCG type III approved.

I bought a ronix GGA vest from the local CC dealer not cheap but we liked it so much I bought one for me., Don't even think about a non GGA vest you may as well wear a T shirt for all the flotation it will provide

Hyperlite Women's Logic CGA all the way. I've had a couple of wives say it fits really well. Hyperlite uses super soft neoprene in their vests. This one is cupped to fit a women's body too.
