Blusurf - Ready to Ride (RTR) board

greggmck Gregg I wanted to get your take on the new Blusurf RTR board. I'm coming off a SoulCraft Jordi Pro and was looking for something different this season without have to wait till the end of the season to receive a custom Blusurf. Is the quality of the Blusurf RTR board just as good as the custom Blusurf boards? They are priced at +/-$300 less then their custom boards.

The quality is identical to the custom boards. With the RTR you have just two choices of colors, blue or magenta. The board is super light with lots of pop. It has less rocker which gives it tons of speed for airs. The tail has a slight diamond shape which makes snap turns and 360s a breeze. We were actually testing them out in Turks and Caicos recently and the RTR is so hot the dolphins came by to check it out!

It's the best stock board I have ever ridden.

As with any high performance board it is important to get the right size. I am 175 lbs and ride the 4' 6". If I were 185 to 200 lbs I would get the 4" 8". Much larger and I would go the custom route. All the best

I'm 185 lbs but short at only 5 ft 8 inch so I was leaning towards the 4'6" size. I forget the size of my Soulcraft Jordi Pro custom but Soulcraft made the board wider because I was only 5 ft 8 inches. Do you think it would be a mistake for me to get the 4'6" Blusurf RTR board?

To answer this I would ask you to describe your riding style. Are you a power rider or would you lean more toward finesse? If power I would ride the 4' 8". Finesse riders would prefer the 4' 6".
