We have 4 kids, boy 3yo, girl 5yo, girl 7yo, and son 9yo. We have an ez ski for the little ones, and this summer got the older two up on a set of Connelly trainer combo skis. Surprisingly my 7yo loves it. We recently borrowed a skids wakeboard, which was bright pink, and now they both want to get into wakeboarding too.
Looking into boards and bindings…are the universal? For instance will ronix bindings work on a connelly board? Basically is there standardization across manufacturers for mounting holes? I am primarily a skier, and haven’t been on a wakeboard in years.
We plan to get a girls board and a boys board, which is utterly redundant. But I have also seen how a pink board can have a positive impact on my daughter (and a negative on my son). Also, having something that is “theirs” helps encourage them to get on the water more
