I've been working on my swim platform and am pretty happy with the upgrade--no more black footprints! Now, the weather needs to turn so I can retrieve my boat from hibernation and replace the remaining sano pieces. I also got the Chromax Nautique logo that NautiqueGermany recommended.

Awesome look! My platform is coming off this weekend to do a full sand and refinish.

We're getting a "flash" of warm weather this week, but we all know it's just a tease.

JDC02SANTE The struggle is real! We got 10" of snow on Friday. Northern MN is slated for another foot today/tomorrow, but we're thankfully far enough south that we're in the cold thunderstorm zone for this one. Looking ahead, this weekend could hit 60, and mid 60s for next week, so I have hope!

I'm glad I had my platform sitting in the garage so that I could take care of this project, though it's a heavy SOB, so getting into (and out of) the basement are a PITA.

The boat is finally home, so I'm tackling a few projects. I got the remainder of my SeaDek installed last night and updated the transom emblem--thanks to NautiqueGermany for the recommendation there. I'm quite happy with the update and was pleasantly surprised with the removal of the sano pieces. I was expecting the worst, but it went pretty smoothly.

Now, I need to get someone to help me get the platform out of my basement.

Hey MN Ryan, that looks NICE! ****, how heavy are the "non teak" platforms? Not the first time I've heard someone say they're heavy.

Thanks, JD! Good question. I should weigh mine. They're fairly heavy, but also they're just large and awkard to carry. I got it into the basement on my own (I'm 6'2", 215 and played college football ), but I feel like coming up the stairs will be more challenging. Maybe in my younger days, but at 42, I don't need to knock myself out of commission or damage my platform or house!

Oh yeah, easy on the walls going up the steps and the new SeaDek!

Man, I'd like to say it gets easier.....on my 3rd fat and trying to get back and stay under 2-hundo while holding on to 49 for another 3 1/2 weeks. I was a real good anchor in the beer chucking line in my college dayzzzz. I'd like to say those are some good memories, but not sure I remember them too well.

Wrapped it up today and got my squealing blower replaced. Going to get her wet next weekend. JDC02SANTE I put the platform on a scale--80 lbs.
