I'm looking to replace my 10 year old HydroHoist 4400UL2 with a new/newer 8800UL2 setup. After doing some research, it looks like HydroHoist is offering multiple models for the control box. My existing (older) unit has a manual lever to lower or raise the boat. The blower is the only electronic component to the whole system. It's been very reliable and I'm hesitant to move to a fully digital one that is push button activated. These newer digital ones have run timers, stop buttons, and other electronic intelligence in the CPU. I believe HydroHoist still offers the manual models, so I have a decision to make...
