How bout this sac?

What do you think of this sac? My 2006 210 Team has a cooler under the starboard bow seat. Instead of cutting it out (like many of you do) I had Fly High make this integrated bow sac. The port finger is cut to fit and the starboard one has obviously been amputated. In a test fill, I got about 38 gallons of water into it (approximately 300 lbs.) It probably wouldn't be a good sac for most because it would weight the boat too much to port, but it's usually just me driving and the other person riding so I'm hoping it'll even out the weight. If not I'll use Pop weighting bags to tune things up.

I like it. I was not aware that they would make you custom sacs, thats kinda cool. Hope it all works out.

Looks good and with the driver offset, you should be fine. The problem will be when you get others in the boat, so some pop bags will be good to have to move around.

A few questions for you,

How careful does the driver need to be when slowing to avoid dunking the nose?

Does the sack drain ok?

How far back does the leg go, all the way under the lift up cushion in the bow? Further? does it start to go under the windshield area?

I can't fully answer all of your questions because I have not used the sac in the boat yet. Regarding dunking the nose, I would expect to follow my normal procedure when driving - slow down to almost a stop before turning to pick up a fallen rider. This allows the wake to settle a bit before turning into it. The sac will be filled and drained with a Tsunami pump this year. If all goes well, I will plumb it in to the center ballast tank. So draining it will not be a problem initially. The port leg does go all the way under the lift up cushion in the bow. I don't remember if it reaches the windshield, but I do know it reaches as far as it can under the port bow seat in the 2006 210 team configuration. Hope this helps.

Thats a great idea. Let us know how it works out. Has anyone seen problems with excessive bow weighting? My friends 210 in my opinion is weighted too much (directly under the bow cushion) and I think because it is not evenly spread, it is having effects on the seeting area. Something like stretching and deforming. I'm curious if others have seen this. I personally dont have those problems, however when I load my boat up I unload it shortly after.
