What is the Best Water Sac for Wakeboarding?????

    Yo,

With so many products out there and so many variations what are some of your top picks for Ballast/Bigger wakesacs??? I would like something that takes up minimal space while putting up a larger wake. It is for a 1991 Ski Nautique.

What are some of the pro and cons for a Bowsac as opposed to a Rear Couch-type sac? Do they make anyting that fits in the engine compartment/hull? What are some of your suggestions?

Thanks, just want to do it right the FIRST time!

Your just gonna have to do some measuring to figure out which sacs are right for you. If you go with a rear couch, you will need a sac up front as well to keep the front down. As for brand, everybody seems to like FlyHigh products.

For your boat, your going to have to play/shift around weights to see what works best. Its tough to get alot of weight in a closed bow/non rear storage boat without taking up space. Personally, I would start with 400 lb vdrive sacs on the sides of the motor box. You'll be able to move them front/back to even things out.

If you don't want to step over sacs, look into placing solid weight into nooks and crannies.

We board behind a 93 Sport Nautique and the best combination for has been a Fly High Fat Sack in the back between the engine & back seat, and a tube sack in the ski locker. We found out that we really needed some weight in the front of the boat. We discovered this by having the in-laws lard a__es sitting in the front seat...
We do have to make sure we don't overweigh the boat if we are boarding in shallower areas of the lake. The wake just mushes out in those conditions.
Our 93 has a much better wake than our friends 98 with the launch control system.

If you don\'t do it today, you will be one day older when you do!!
