Bimini - above or below tower?

I have a '06 SV-211 TE and would like to adda bimini. I think I want it to be above the tower as to maximize the head room. I have not hit my head (yet) so I think I have at least trained myself that the speakers are there. I have also seen online a set up with one in front and a larger in back.

Any comments or advice? Any specific brand?

The higher you place the bimini, the less shade it will provide.

I say below. I still think it looks better on the nautiques. I do think it looks better above on the malibus though.

BELOW. I have a 06 211TE, mine is right at the underside of the speakers so it is only as low as they are. I agree that higher gives less shade or in our case (NW), less rain proection LOL!

Def Below and Im 6'5. I just want shade when Im sitting down not standing up.

Over the top looks too much like a chinese hat. Plus less coverage factor. Just not my preference.

I have had both and a good argument can be made for both. I really like the shade of the under bimini but definatly like the space and freedom to move around on my new OTT Bimini
