Fly High Wedge Sacs Vs. V-Drive Sacs in 07' 210

It appears that the V-Drive sac is a better choice for my 07' 210 rear compartments as it will fill the entire area with ballast. Why does Fly High offer a "Nautique wedge sac" and say that it fits in Nautique V-Drive ski lockers? Are pre 07' V-Drives a little different?

Don't know for sure about the 07's, but CC offered two different shaped rear tanks for the earlier SAN's. The team edition boats automatically came with the "wedge" shaped tank's, as they held more water/weight. The back of a wedge tank is about 8" higher than the front, resulting in the "wedge" shape.

The other option was a pair of flat tanks. They held less water/weight, but allowed for more storage. Also, you could easily fit a "v-drive" sac on top of each flat tank and fill the entire locker with ballast.

Fly High started to produce the "Nautique wedge sac" to complement the "wedge" tanks. When used together, the tank and sac form a rectangle... filling the entire locker with ballast.

Sounds like you have the flat tanks.

I can't answer about the '07, but I believe the wedge sac is for '02-06 boats and the v-drive sac is for 00-01 SAN's. Funny thing is they are the same weight. Both 400#'s

That makes sense... I've got flat tanks, but I don't know if wedge tanks were an option on my 07. I'll get the V-Drive sacs!!!

            Thanks!

Pull your tanks and put a pair of 750#ers in there, you will thank me later.

I put these in my 02 210. Please note that they fit in there perfect and we fill em up to about 600. The beauty is that we can now put boards in there for trailering etc. They make great fittings so it would be a snap to swap em out. IF you fill em up, you will want a bag in the bow too to level it out.

                  Best of luck.

I've had my eyes on the gravity games rear sacs which are 560# and look like they would fit perfect.

Flux, did you mean to say they don't fit perfect?

That's not a bad idea! Is it tough to get the tanks out?

What about tanks + 750#ers + 1000 lb bow sac? Kiss my gas goodbye...
