    RE: Box Anchor

YEs we just got ours in the mail last week. Well for starters slide anchor people called to tell us that our package had shipped out already and should be there shortly and it came the next day. I'd give them props for the customer service.

      RE: Box Anchor

have you used it yet. the two lakes we anchor at both get windy and i would like an anchor that holds better than what we use. if you have not used it please post when you do with how well it works.

      thanks

        Box Anchor

        These things work!

I just finished up a week at Lake Mojave & used my new box anchor.

Set it and forget it! The harder you pull on it, the more it bites.

        I whole heartedly endorse them.

        Hope this helps.

          Thanks for that info wetfoot.
Im thinking about ordering one also, are you using the small? and are you using the anchor buddy or norm anchor line?

Has anyone tried out the shore spike?
          I plan on getting both.

I have the small Box Anchor that I use for my 206. Works great. Check on e-bay, that is where I got mine (it was new).

              Good Luck!!!!!!

We use anchor buddy, digger anchor, and sandspike with their floating lines and they all work great (they all come from the same company). Call the guy and talk to him about sizing. He was very helpfull and they shipped the same day I ordered. We use them in an SN 206 and I couldn't be happier. Haven't used the box anchor, but I have heard good things about it--but I wouldn't rule out the digger anchor.

I know you're right eBay is the way to go.

                  jjackrash,
Thanks for that link on the sandspike, thats the first time Ive seen that brand. I like the size, color and design, but wonder if I need to carry a rubber mallet to drive it in? But then again on sand shouldnt be a prob.

We have never had to use a mallet to secure the sand spike, you can work it into the beach by going back and forth with it. On harder beaches, maybe mallet would be required. We ordered ours in colors that match our boat perfectly, and the products are of high quality, IMO.

I'm sold man, I'm ordering the sandspike. Thanks. (too bad they dont give you something for the referal)

Did you notice the link to the malibu gear site. Malibu sells these w/their logo in their accessories section. This is probably a topic for another thread but I sure wish Nautique or their suppliers would make more gear available. If you look at any of the competitors websites overall they have more and a better selection of branded merchandise. I would think that Nautique would at least have some basics like key floats, coolers, towels, decals, dock lines, bumpers, basically anything you would buy to make the day better on the boat. Ive been searching eBay for months for an "Air Nautique" garage banner, I have the Harley ones but I would really like to fly my other love along side, not to mention my SANTE hogs the most part of my 3 car I guess Im spoiled because Im used to Harley-Davidson who brands probably too much, but I think that CC is "missing the boat" on this.
Sorry for the highjack and off topic comments.

                        What does IMO mean?
