    Dry Suit?

Unfortunately I live in a climate that gets cold and snowy, but would like to extend my season as much as possible. Thus, I am considering one of these:

any pros or cons on that suit? Are there better ones out there? I saw one that had baggy legs as well, but figured they would make it harder to come out of the water on one ski?

I have the baggy version. Don't really like to wear it, but it works to extend the season. You probably won't be hitting it too hard when the water is cold, but I do not have any problem getting up with the baggy.

Look at the Neil Pryde type WNP 05 4941. Its a full neoprene with a dryzipper on the back of your shoulders. Its full neoprene and very comfortable. Neck and limb seals are very flexible 2mm closed cell neoprene, easy in and out. Find it at Neil Pryde, windsurf or kite surf tabs. Ours isyear 2004 or 2005.

The Assult is great with the baggy top and tight bottom. I have the Oneil fluid and love it. If you are a MED, check these out for a great price.

I hve the Assault Hybrid. It is great. I used to have a full neoprene drysuit, and a full bag suit, I prefer the Hybrid to both.

I am on a waterski show team. We use OS Systems drysuits, they are the baggy type. they are very versatile, you can go with a light rashguard, and long underware when it is only cool, or put on more layers under it, if you really want to extend your season. Here in the Portland Oregon area, we could ski year around, if we wanted to.
With the snug fitting ones you are limited to the thickness of the material for insulation.

x2 although they don't have anything to do with each other. The material is actually quite slick against the water, minimal drag.

os systems makes the best drysuits in my experience.

I have a baggy style just like the basic overton's model. I've had it for years and don't use it much. you have to take care of the seals and the zipper, but overall I think its a better option for overall watersports.

if you ever barefoot you'll want a bag style. you can also bulk up underneath.. I usually wear some long underwear and even sweats if its really cold out.

the oneill assault is a good suit though, but because I do barefoot I prefer a bag style.
