New Slalom Bindings for my brother

I'm considering getting my brother a new set of bindings for his slalom. I am a wakeboarder and have no idea what is out there, or even what will work with his current ski. He is a competitive slalom skier (I think his personal best is aorund 2 @ 28 off @ 36mph).

Currently he is on a 67 HO Phantom Truth with Animal Bindings (front and rear). I'm not sure how old (maybe 4 or 5 years)?

If he is already on an HO you might as well look at gettimg him a pair of HO Approach bindings, they are an excellent fitting binding, I have skied with both the Animal and Approach, both are great but I would choose the Approach.

OK,
I would agree that the approach is a great boot and I use it, but if he is in animals, I would stick with animals. Or maybe give him the gift certificate to make up his own mind.

The Connelly Draft's are great bindings....I slapped them on my H.O. last summer. I wasn't too confident they would last mechanically because of the hinge, however I skied over 100 times on them last summer and they are still in good shape!
