Tower bimini over the tower 211 questions.

I am seriously considering adding a Tower Biminis bimini to my 211. I have a couple questions and was wondering if someone could answer them for me (over the tower model):

    1) Can I tow the boat (longer distances, 65 MPH) with the bimini installed, or does it have to come completely off?

    2) Can the tower be folded down with the bimini attached? When I'm coming home from the lake at 10pm I'm not really looking to do a bunch more work to put the boat away.

RE: Tower bimini over the tower 211 questions.

I bought a 211 this summer and ordered an over the tower Bimini (I'm 6'5", under the tower just won't do). It does fold up and I pull it long distances. However, the one I have attaches with pins that I can pull MUCH quicker than attempting to fold it. As for folding the tower, you can leave it attached but need to pull all pins but one on each side. Once again, easier to just pull it off.

Mine must be a different Bimini. I can fold the tower with no problem. I also tow with it in the case. I have only had the boat for a few trips but did not have any trouble. The biggest problem I have is I have the flight clips and the Bimini blocks the use for the inside clips for wake boards. For me it is not a big deal because we only have one wake board but could be a problem for other.

My towerbimini folds quite easily right under the speakers. I fold the front and center bows against the rear bow and zip the boot cover over it. I use the stays to keep the booted cover off the tower speakers. It tows fine in "stowed" mode with no issues at 70+. I have also towed with it open up to 45mph, seems OK since the boat goes 45 in the water...
