    Finally got decent water today!

    I can't believe it is June 11 and today was the 1st day for decent water. It's been 20 years since I have gotten started so late in the year.

    I also can't believe how sore I am, must be getting old.

      Hey guys, I just got out for the first time on Sunday, and I'm a little west of Columbus, by London... Crazy year, but the water was pretty nice, if I do say so... I wish I was in better form, but eh...

        Water was in mid 60's but this was the 1st time it has not been windy-cold and or raining when I have had a chance to be out. Don't mind cold, but in central Ohio our weather has been crazy.

        Went out Sun morning and could not find a flat area on the whole lake.

          I feel your pain. Literally.

          I went out last weekend and got so sore I tried to ski yesterday (Tue) and simply could not. My shoulder was hurting so much I got up, took a few cuts and shut it down. The water was nice (but cold) here in MN.

          This has been a spring for the record books. Some late blooming trees are just now filling out. It looks like May 5th around here..Not June 11th.

            skijones - where do you ski around here? I'm lucky enough to be on a smaller lake here locally, but if you're up at Alum you're probably shot for good water. it's a toughie round here. Our lake is even getting a little rough, but there aren't nearly as many people out as there were last year.

              Mostley on Alum, but I live btw Alum and Oshaunessy so we split time with that. The river has had so much crud floating I was afraid to put my boat in there. Never been to Choctaw but heard it was nice.
              Alum is great during the week, but on the weekends it is crazy.
