As someone who has been skiing since age 7 and wakeboarding since 10, and I am 20 right now. I can say that skiing definitely takes more of a toll on my body than wakeboarding. I feel like the falls are a lot harder when im skiing vs wakeboarding.
Reason being i ski at 34-35 mph at about 20 off. As most of you veteran skiiers know when your crossing those wakes you are probably moving at about 42-43 maybe faster? And the ski breaking free and tossing me head over heals that fast hurts and usually puts an end to my session pretty quick for a couple days.
Wakeboarding is 23mph, 75 foot line yes you can catch a good edge and take a good beating but for me something about those falls is a lot softer than getting ripped apart by the "shortline" of waterskiing.
Just my opinion.
