Can someone recommend a good ski school in Orlando, FL?

    Hi All,

I will be in Orlando (not far from Disney) on business for several days in October, can someone recommend a good ski school close by where I could work on running the buoys in the morning?

    Thanks,

Try Phil Hughes - although the link still shows Phil at Lake Hamilton, he has relocated to "Champion Lake" close to Swiss Ski School.
During my visit to Florida Sept 07 I skied 2 or 3 sets a day with him, I found Phil an excellent coach and on returning to the UK raised my own PB by 4 buoys in my next comp.
He recently (early 08) broke the "British Senior 3" slalom record of 3 buoys on the 11.25m line length at 34mph and has now also claimed the 2008 British Senior 3 slalom champion at Hazlewoods here in the UK a couple of weeks ago, so give him a call.

Jack Travers is excellent for slalom, if you just want to run the course I would say it is one of the best. I was there in April 08 and it was excellent. It is located about 35 min. north/west of Orlando.
