I can't say that I am offended by my sincere post regarding offensive noises and smells emanating from my labrador being deleted by the thought police on this forum. I do feel violated with the deletion of the picture of my kneeboarding chihuahua.
Winter is , for the most part, an ineffectual and boring season on this board. I got so tired of checking in and reading this week's post on Drake's Creek marine that I thought a little watersporting pets thread might add a litlle life to an otherwise seasonally comatose forum.

Thank you bcchesley for directing me to an area I had never visited. If my wife knew Chuy's kneeboarding miracle was relegated to that section...I can't even fathom the disaster that would be inflicted upon this site. She is from the swamps of Louisiana and has crow's feet.
I go to the beyond and see a neat picture of a dog that pulls the rope in. Somehow, maybe I don't understand the Nautique life and how to live it, but that is WWWAAAAYYY more interesting on a national scale than the tribulations of the local dealership.
Maybe its just me.

OK SKITOWER. I have read your responses in the "Off Topic" forum. I suggest you and I take control of this forum from NautiqueJeffrey.
Obviously he considers an engine malfunction on a Nautique as "On topic"?
How often does that happen?
Is this a Moomba site?
I will not relent until our NAUTIQUE PET pictures are "On Topic".
Heck, last July 4th I probably overdid it a little. My labrador grabbed me by the swimsuit, pulled me away, and drove the boat home.
The seriousness of people in this challenging world truly amazes me.

Sorry CANT'SKI, but I don't usually care what forum a topic is in. I pull up this site multiple times a day to see what topics are in the top five and when I log in I go to New Posts which keeps a running list of everything since the last time I was on. I RARELY go to the forums.

But hey, it's winter and as you said things are a little boring. Some good debating and ranting would be entertaining! Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

I'm sorry that somehow you think that your dog's gas is Nautique-related. I'm sure most will agree that a thread like that belongs in off topic. In the future, I would hope you would have the courtesy to contact me directly if you disagree with a decision I make about this site instead of posting a thread about it.

Yes, I do try to keep these threads in some sort of reasonable order. The main reason for that is so that when someone searches for a topic in a specific forum, they find the results that they are looking for. Isn't that what a site administrator is supposed to do?

Thanks. I have never even noticed "new posts". I will look there in the future.
I am guessing my Show Us Your Nautique Pet Buddy is not going to get a lot of run.
Maybe next time I will hit on something of interest.

one thing to note with the new posts: it retains all posts since the last time you visited the new post page. But if you go there make sure you look at all you want. As soon as you select one and then leave the site, the list gets cleaned out. When I go away on vacation and come back to multiple pages, I have to sit down for a few and make sure I hit everything I want. Other than that, it's a great way to keep up with what's going on.
