Haha my mom put over700,000 km on a 93 suburban! I think that my dad had a new engine put in in the 600's and a tranny in the 500's. it is still not in too bad shape, and they make excellent hunting rigs when you are done with them! I think she bought her first new Honda pilot in about 2008 or so. I think North American is the way to go. They do last, and parts are reasonable. I believe the biggest thing is frequent fluid changes.

pardon my ignorance, but what's a lock?
and by the way: 175K on my F150 and still almost looks new. Biggest issue is replacing spark plugs.

Traded our 2004 Yukon XL at 130K miles. Needed brakes for the first time and self leveling air bags were shot. Couldn't see spending $2600 on a vehicle worth $10K2013 G23 450 with NSS (175hrs) and still have the original prop

02 excursion 4x4 mommy wagon/nautique hauler. 180k on the clock. Oil line or two batteries and alternator is it that has let me down. Now for the needed to have .....programmer ,lift kit ,power slots ,turbo ,intake ,exhaust etc. We have had it forever. Can't even remember all the upgrade junk we have done over the years. We love it! Old clattering *** run over you if you get in the way, haul what ever where with as many people as you want.. If something were to happen to it we would be hunting for another! My favorite part. Paid for!! Figure I'm never going to have a paid for boat!!! Lol ....Ok back to the topic. I'm in the auto industry. Those trucks are great and given maintenance they should last till you get tired of maintaining it. You may have to do a motor at 2 or 3 hundred k or a tranny. Big thing is if it is broke or worn out fix it and use GM or an upgrade part not cheap rebuilt parts.
