How much?

I like the drivers seat. Would be much quicker to dry out. Also like the back seat. My 99 Snob has the flip over cushion in the center so everybody does not step on your upolstry getting in and out.
Not much to look at, but I would have to ski it to make a final determination. I am not a big fan of bells and whistles on a boat, but to each his own.

is it legal to do that hull chopping? i know the first MC was a nautique hull w/ a new deck. if that's the case my buddy owns a fiberglass shop and i could have a new inside put on an old 2001 hull and make some wrap seating

I'm sure you could do whatever 1-off custom thing you want, but to reproduce in quantity and sell it you would need permission, which I believe this company has.How 'bout a little reverse action...

There is a rule about not fitting in anothers mold exactly but it will take one of the experts here to chime in. It was a big deal in South Florida in the Don Aronow days. There was a reason they were all called Cigarette boats. Same with M/C, Supreme, Centurion, Bredella, Tige

The owner of Standard worked for Correct Craft for years and I've heard he is considered to be a very innovative and intelligent guy. It'll be interesting to see where he goes with this. I wish him well. It's got some interesting features.Shane Hill

Your black 2001 is the nicest rebuild I've seen. Nothing like this new offering at all.

Looks like the backward tower was an afterthought. Turned it around to get the mounting point as far forward as possible. REALLY doubt any structural testing was done on that. Why spend 20K+ on that when you can get an 80's CC for 10K-15K and it won't depreciate.
I second the Chinese comment...

Don't get me wrong, the 2001 is my favorite inboard boat and I think is prettier (especially pre-'87) than this one (or any other). However I do really like this concept. Turn it around: Why spend 60K+ on a new inboard when you can get one for 27K or so?
I think CC should have done this themselves when times were good. Create a sub-brand (think Axis-Malibu, Smart-Mercedes, Scion-Toyota) for the entry-level market, to get people "attached" to your brand when buying their first new boat, so they'll come back later for that $100K SuperSuperAirwhatever.
