i am a business major.thankfully my father worked hard to give me things he never had. don't get me wrong i am in no way a spend to win liberal, and if i had my way i would just take what we really want out of the middle east and im very 2nd amendment protective, and an NRA member. i just can't stand that guy. he always looks like his head is gonna explode. despite what some of my posts may lead you to believe i am very inteligent and up on current affairs most of the time. and everyone needs a good laugh so im glad i could help.

i've heard him say things about shooting people in the field w/ no evidence and some other just blasphemous things. i hope he is not how you are debt free. a good accountant, wise investments, and knowing about the investments your broker makes for you is the best way. also not living beyond your means. so you're telling me you owe your credit card companies absolutely nothing and nothing on your house and nothing on your boat or car or oustanding medical bills?

I am a retard. I got him confused with Dave Ramsey. Its been a long day. Yes I am totally debt free house and all. It took the wife and I about 6 years to pull of but we did it. We did it following Dave Ramsey not Glenn Beck. I still listen to beck everyonce in a while though. Big difference in the two though.

At 35, I have a huge jump on most people my age for retirement. I never dreamed I could do it until I read his book. He comes on the radio from 12-3pm every day and he is also on Fox News at some time in the late afternoon.

I took a few minutes to check out his history, etc. You should do the same, you may discover that he is a pretty remarkable guy. Been through a lot and really made something of himself and others (similar to your dad giving you opportunities that he never had). It is true that some people have personalities and expression that are difficult to get through, but it is a dangerous practice to judge so narrowly (especially in business).

Here are a couple current events for you:

On May 17, 2008, Beck gave the keynote speech at the NRA convention in Louisville, Kentucky.

The 9/12 Project
The 9/12 Project is a campaign that was announced by Beck on March 13, 2009. It is named for nine principles and twelve values, articulated by Beck, that he says embody the spirit of the American people on the day after the September 11 attacks.[20] His twelve values are honesty, reverence, hope, thrift, humility, charity, sincerity, moderation, hard work, courage, personal responsibility, and gratitude.[21]

His nine principles are: America Is Good; I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life; I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday; the family is sacred; if you break the law you pay the penalty; I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results; I work hard for what I have and I will share it with whom I want to; it is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion; the government works for me—I do not answer to them, they answer to me.[22]

He also wrote The Real America: Messages from the Heart and Heartland, as well as The Christmas Sweater, which was released on November 11, 2008. The latter occupied the #1 slot on the New York Times Best Seller list for the week of November 30, 2008, and the week of December 25, 2008.
