    Daytona Accommodation

This might be a long shot but worth a try, my girlfriend and I are coming to the US on holiday from New zealand (Orlando-Daytona-Miami) After doing a five day wake camp we have booked tickets for the Daytona 400 on July 4th. Our accommodation has just fallen through and we are struggling to replace it without paying $200-$300us a night with minimum three night stay. Would anyone have suggestions? B & B or home-style? or maybe just fellow nautique owners wanting to accommodate other nautique owners in Daytona Beach.

    Would really appreciate any help.

    Thanks.

PS we are both 30 and have an 04 SANTE!

      RE: Daytona Accommodation

good luck, I havent been down to Daytona in a few years. I'd say look in the central Florida area around Ocala. Like anything else, the farther from the event you get the cheaper the rooms will be. The Palm Coast area is very nice as well about 20 minutes north of Daytona, but it's not any cheaper than Daytona in my experience.

Thanks, it looks like we might have to travel after the event so thinking of heading south down to the Kennedy Space center, Cocoa Beach area. Only looks about an hours drive.

you might want to try parramores family campground in Astor Fla. They havesome pretty nice cabins for rent. I stayed in a cabin therefor a CCFAN reunion in february. The Daytona 500 was that weekend still managed to book a cabin a couple of weekends before the race. It isn't far from Daytona in the middle of nowhere but nice none the less. Plan on staying there again next year for the same reunion. Here is the link:

If you can't do it in, on, or behind a Nautique..... It just ain't worth doing!
