Malibu Dealer goes Bankrupt in Portland, OR

A Malibu dealer went bankrupt here on Friday. Not so funny thing was that my Nautique was there for basic oil change (why is another story, but let's just say it is for convenience). Well after not hearing from them for a few days and only getting their voice mail, I elected to go see WTF was going on. The bank was there putting padlocks on the gate with my boat inside. Long story short, I got my boat back....

Yup, that was a close call, dude. That would take the convenience right outta not changing your own oil.

That similar situation happened to a huge car dealer here in MN. They just came in on a Saturday morning and blocked the driveways at a dozen or more dealers. If your car was there, you were screwed for a while. In the end, this guy closed 25 of 26 dealers, and filed for $1B in discharges. Yes, one billion. $550M to Chrysler alone.
