    surfing tips Nautique 230?

I have a 08' Nautique 230.... I am trying to get the wakesurf wake dialed in. I have an aftermarket ballast mod that allows for upto 1000lbs bow weight and up to 600lbs in each aft compartment. Thats in addition to the factory 900lbs or so.

Is the boat speed and ballast just trial and error. Anyone out there with a 230 that has is dialed in?

i do not have a 230, but as a good starting point to experiment with.

On the rider's side: fill rear ballast, add about 300-400 to your aftermarket, then fill your belly ballast, and your bow half full or so. Set your PP or ZO to about 9.5. You want a nice clean wave from the deck about 20-25 feet back. ride in the lower third of the wake. the further back you get, the wider you have to be to stay in the pocket.

    good luck.
