    Drove boat onto river bed.

So we were wakeboarding this past weekend and there were a few boats out on the river. We have a small town so everyone knows everyone sort of. Anyways some kids were out with daddys new wakesetter. And they were spouting off to another guy in my boat while we passed by. So whatever we just kept boarding and we cought up right behind them again they were also boarding and we watched him slam thay sucker right onto the shore, and not a nice shore either! So we stroll over there and ask if everyones alright and they were but obviously something wrong with the boat. Needless to say, the Nautique looks good pulling that wakesetter back to the launch. And who is walking down the boat launch when we pull up?? Thats right...Dad lol Tuff luck kid!
On a plus note I am pumped to say I finally am able to go wake to wake! I know its no big deal to alot of you but I have tried so hard all summer! And what a great feeling!!

RE: Drove boat onto river bed.

Congrats on the wake-2-wake. Everything is going to come much easier and faster now. Tantrums by next week.

You didn't happen to get a pic of the tow truck did you. I think that should be the cover of the next PN calendar.

That dope wasn't as bad as this moomba driving fool. This picture was taken on Lake LBJ over Labor Day Weekend. No one could get the real story.

That happened just down from my house, about 10 in the morning. No alcohol was involved, the guy was messing with a kid in the observers seat who was misbehaving. The boat was traveling between 30 and 40, the dock is on the inside of a fairly sharp bend. you can't see in the pictures, but there is a dock about 20 feet behind the Moomba so I had a real hard time figuring out how it got in there at that speed. Everyone walked away and the Moomba looked to be in fair condition considering what happened (broken tower and lots of scratches, not visible holes). I took about a week to get a barge and a crane to lift everything apart and when I saw the Moomba in town it looked like that had torn it up considerably more.
